Campbell Constructions is a father and son construction company, providing Melburnians with a quality residential building service since 1973.

We specialise in the restoration of period homes as well as the design and construction of bespoke new homes and contemporary extensions.

All projects are truly unique, with custom-built designs and specifications adapted to meet individual client requirements.

Architectural design cues are incorporated from surrounding environs to ensure all new homes sit comfortably within the overarching mood of each locale.

Whatever the project size, we can cater to your needs. Whether you’re after a new kitchen, creating new space for a growing family, or dreaming up a new home.

At Campbell Constructions, we take great pride in our work by personally managing every project we undertake from start to handover.

We develop great working relationships with all our clients through clear, regular communication and post project follow-up. As a result, much of our work comes from client referrals.

All work completed by Campbell Constructions is guaranteed for 7 years and insured for public liability, construction works and general property through the HIA Insurance Services.

BARRY CAMPBELL

DIRECTOR

Since forming Campbell Constructions in 1973, Barry has worked on a wide range of building projects, with over 40 years industry experience. A registered builder, Barry’s attention to detail and commitment to quality compliments his extensive knowledge of the building process.

BEN CAMPBELL

DIRECTOR

Growing up on building sites with his dad, Ben is passionate about building beautiful homes. Ben has been a Director at Campbell Constructions for over 10 years following a career in both residential and commercial construction. Ben previously worked for Kane and Baulderstone in Melbourne and Multiplex and MACE in London.

To ensure excellence, all building work is supervised by the two directors, with plumbers, electricians and other qualified and reliable trades people who have a long history of completing high quality work with us.

New homes
We can bring your dream home design to life, whether it is a contemporary design or period reproduction.

Renovations
From installing a new kitchen, bathroom or al fresco dining space, to adding new rooms and completely overhauling the look of your home, we can apply our expertise to all project sizes.

Restorations
We have provided clients with a variety of rewarding restorations. Victorian, Edwardian, Californian Bungalow, Art Deco; each period uniquely beautiful.

OUR BUILDING PROCESS

Initial Meeting
During our on-site consultation we discuss your requirements with your budget in mind. We then engage a recommended draftsperson/architect or alternatively, we are happy to discuss plans prepared by your architect or draftsman.
Quotation
Once the design has been finalised we will provide an obligation free, fixed-price, itemised quotation.
Building & planning permits
We will obtain all necessary planning and building permits, engineering and soil reports, ensuring this process is timely and hassle-free.
Contract documentation
We then prepare all specifications and contract documents using clear and detailed Housing Industry Association (HIA) documentation, including your Home Owner's warranty provided by HIA Insurance Services.
Build
There are five stages of the standard building process: Base stage; Frame; Lock-up; Fit-out; and Completion. At each stage we will walk you through the site, explaining the work and answering any questions you may have.
Handover
We walk you through the finished project, making sure every detail is to your satisfaction.
